Linux Systems Administrator

Department: Business Technology

Responsibilities:

• System implementation
• Adoption of tools and standard operating procedures
• Implementing and testing patches and system upgrades
• Developing documentation
• Securing the environment
• Providing support and resolving technical problems

Qualifications:

• Senior knowledge of x86 architecture (Intel, AMD), Microsoft Windows server systems (2000, 2003), Linux and VMWare ESX Server
• Knowledge of TCP/IP Networks, network concepts such as network protocols, switches, routers
• Linux shell scripting experience, excellent troubleshooting, analytical thinking skills, communication and time management skills
